Help Us to See You, Lord.

Father, we have all come short of your glory. Father, forgive us for the times that we have approached you as we would approach our friends as if we were merely asking for a favor. Forgive us Lord for diminishing your character to that of man and having doubt that you would speak to our situation. You are not a man that you should lie. Help us to see YOU in your word. Help us to truly grasp that You are Sovereign and that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think. Father, I pray that when our minds are attacked by the cares of the world, you will give our hearts the capacity to remember and remain steadfast in reverence to you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
