Ephesians 6:11-18
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
As followers of Christ, we are called to be resilient fighters when we face life's challenges and the attacks of the enemy. Isaiah 54:17 assures us that NO weapon formed against us shall prosper. No matter how fierce the battle before us, we must persistently fight each day because the fight for our souls is constantly raging.
"My daughter is currently facing a challenging health issue. As a family, we have been unwavering in our support for her, offering prayers and standing by her side to keep her spirits high. Our united presence has been a constant source of comfort and encouragement, reminding her that she is not alone in this challenge. However, I must admit that there are days when it becomes difficult for me to do so because of the overwhelming 'what-ifs'.
In those moments I must encourage myself in the Lord. I must strengthen myself in His Word. 1 John 4:4 says, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” I must remind myself that I AM a child of the Most High God and according to 1 John 5:14, if I ask anything according to His will, He will hear me. The most effective way to ensure that my prayers align with God's will is to study His Word, which contains His will. If I pray using His Word, He will not deny me. He will honor His Word.
As followers of Christ, we must resolve that He will fight for us and be determined to remain diligent in our pursuit of Him. We must be fully equipped for battle when it comes, and it will come. It will come into our minds, it will come into our families and homes, it will come into our jobs, and it may even come into our church. BUT Ephesians 6:10-20 gives us our defense and marching orders. We are to be strong in the Lord and the power of HIS might. To do this, we must put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the attacks of the enemy. No matter what it looks like, no matter how we feel, and no matter the battle scars or wounds, we must make up our minds to stand firm and fight!
God promised that he would never leave us or forsake us in Hebrews 13:5b. He never promised us an easy life without challenges. Isaiah 41:10 tells us, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
So, knowing this… I will fight, I will Fight, RENTLESSLY, I WILL FIGHT!

Father, I thank You for Your strength and for not leaving us defenseless. Thank You for fighting for us and in us to keep us. Thank you for constantly protecting and covering us in the battles that we face. Forgive us, Father, when we grow weary in the fight. Thank You for your Mercy and Grace. In Jesus Name, Amen.
